Ellen Fegan

Ellen Sollitto Fegan is Treasurer and finance director for AP Fund for Journalism. She has moved to APFJ from The Associated Press, where she spent more than 20 years as Vice President of Internal Audit. In this role, she was responsible for ensuring compliance and internal controls for AP’s worldwide operations, managing its whistleblower program, and overseeing several large restructuring projects. Prior to joining the AP, Ellen was director of audit at Viacom Inc. and an audit manager at Deloitte. Ellen holds an MBA in finance from New York University, a BA in economics from Colgate University, and is a CPA.
